On the night of February 14, Russia launched a new aerial attack on peaceful Ukrainian cities, reports Politeka.net.
The new assault by the Russians began at 19:30 on February 13, with the enemy utilizing 133 strike drones of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones.
To eliminate enemy targets, aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Ukraine's Defense Forces were involved.
As of 08:30, the downing of 73 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine report that 58 enemy decoy drones have been lost from radar.
The cities of Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv were targeted in the new enemy strike.
As reported by Politeka, it is known that on the night of February 14, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district with artillery.
As a result of the shelling, residential infrastructure was damaged.
This information was shared by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
During the night, Russian invaders shelled Nikopol and the Marhanets community four times with artillery fire.
"Seven private houses, three outbuildings, a solar panel, and power lines were damaged. No injuries were reported," the statement said.
