The Russian drone struck the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, igniting the shelter that protects the world from radiation, reports Politeka.net.
This was announced on February 14 by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Following the drone strike on the shelter of the fourth reactor block at Chernobyl, radiation levels remain within normal limits.
“At the industrial site of Chernobyl, a level of 0.57 µSv/h has been recorded, which does not exceed permissible values,” the statement says.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine added that monitoring of the situation in Chernobyl continues, and the situation is under control, urging Ukrainians to follow official announcements.
