The Russian occupying army has received the first 122-mm multiple launch rocket systems M-2023 from North Korea, disguised as civilian cargo vans.
This was reported by military-political analyst Alexander Kovalenko from the "Information Resistance" group on his Telegram channel.
Additionally, according to the expert, recently in Russia, 240-mm caliber multiple launch rocket systems M1985/M1991 were verified, which will allow the enemy to compensate for the critical shortage of "Uragan" and "Tornado" MLRS.
It was also previously reported that there were initial confirmations of the use of North Korean 170-mm self-propelled artillery systems M1989 Koksan in the Liman direction, which help the occupiers offset the acute deficit of long-range 2S7 "Pion" self-propelled guns and 2S4 "Tulipan" mortars.
The military expert noted that the emergence of M-2023 MLRS in Russia may indicate a severe shortage of BM-21 "Grad" systems, which they cannot compensate for through domestic production and restoration.
Alexander Kovalenko added that Ukraine is the first country in the world to directly encounter North Korean military forces and the testing of North Korean military-industrial capabilities; even South Korea has not experienced such a situation in over 50 years. Meanwhile, the reaction from our partners remains lukewarm.
