The Mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, reported that on the night of February 5, an enemy drone struck the central part of the city.
This information was shared by Mayor Terekhov on social media.
"There is information about a strike by a 'Shahed' drone in the central part of the city. We are clarifying the details," the message states.
Later, Terekhov reported that the enemy strike hit an administrative building in the Saltivskyi district.
"The enemy struck an administrative building located in the Saltivskyi district. There is a fire at the impact site," Terekhov stated.
Windows in the nearby residential building were shattered. A gas station was also damaged.
Currently, there have been no reports of casualties.
At 3:16, Terekhov reported another strike, this time in the Osnovyanskyi district.
According to him, a fire broke out at the impact site.
Later, it became known that the area of the fire caused by the Russian "Shahed" strike in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv exceeded 200 square meters.
The roof of the administrative building, which is a monument of architecture, caught fire.
It was previously reported that the Security Service of Ukraine detained another FSB agent who was coordinating Russian strikes on Kherson, while she herself lived in the same city.
According to the SBU, she assisted in determining coordinates for artillery, air, and drone attacks on the right-bank part of Kherson.
