The Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region are managing to seize tactical initiative and conduct successful counteroffensive operations.
This was reported by military-political expert Dmitry Snegiyev during a broadcast on the FREEДОМ channel.
Furthermore, according to the expert, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are currently delivering preemptive strikes on the permanent deployment locations of personnel not only from the Russian army but also from the North Korean army, as well as targeting the logistical components of the Russian army across the territory of the Russian Federation, including not just in the Kursk region but also in Bryansk, Oryol, and Belgorod.
"This means that the Russians are facing the question of the possibility of expanding the presence of the Ukrainian Defense Forces within the territory of the Russian Federation at the expense of other regions of the RF itself, and this concerns the potential for a repeat of the Kursk scenario in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions," – stated Dmitry Snegiyev.
The military expert noted that throughout the entire period of the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region, the losses of the Russian army are estimated at around 38 thousand personnel. Moreover, the most combat-ready units of the Russian occupation army are concentrated in Kursk – marine brigades, airborne troops, and special forces, which represent the elite.
"In addition, it is important to highlight the severe losses among the personnel of the DPRK military. According to the Ukrainian president, the losses of DPRK soldiers amount to approximately 4 thousand personnel," – added Dmitry Snegiyev.
