Residents of Bryansk and Ryazan reported explosions and drone attacks during the night, with local residents capturing the sounds of blasts and fires on video.
Kovalenko stated that strategic facilities in Ryazan, Russia, were hit, including an oil refinery.
In Bryansk, the "Kremniy" factory was attacked; the head of the CPD noted that this enterprise produces microelectronics.
"Microelectronics for missile systems, for the Pantsir air defense system, Iskander missiles, as well as for radar and electronic warfare systems and Russian drones are produced there," the report stated.
Kovalenko added that this is already the third attack by unidentified drones on the "Kremniy" factory.
It is worth mentioning that the Smolensk aviation plant was attacked on the night of January 21, highlighting its significance.
The Smolensk aviation plant is involved in the production of military aircraft, such as Su-25 attack planes.
This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrey Kovalenko.
The Smolensk plant provides major repairs and maintenance for aviation technology.
According to Kovalenko, this allows Russia to maintain the combat readiness of outdated aircraft.
