On the night of February 13, the Russian Federation launched 140 Shahed-type UAVs and imitator drones against Ukraine.
The drones attacked Ukraine from five directions, as reported by the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
The enemy deployed drones from the Russian cities of Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
As of nine in the morning, the downing of 85 drones and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles has been confirmed in Kharkiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, and other regions.
52 imitator drones were lost without negative consequences.
As a result of the attack, the Odesa and Kharkiv regions were affected.
On Thursday, February 13, the Russian army attacked the city of Sumy. The enemy targeted residential areas with drones.

"Today, February 13, in the morning, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the regional center of Sumy Oblast, using unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement says.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that the Russians directed drones at private residential areas. The consequences of the Russian attack are being clarified.
According to the Regional Military Administration, overnight, defenders shot down eight enemy drones over Sumy Oblast.
