For the Russian occupying forces, it is crucial to seize as much Ukrainian territory as possible before the Donald Trump administration makes decisions regarding Ukraine.
This was stated by Yuri Fedorenko, the commander of the strike drones battalion "ACHILLES" of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, during a broadcast on "Kyiv24".
According to the military, the United States currently lacks a clear strategy and plan, as there are several unknown factors or those they have yet to realize. In particular, no one can accurately assess Russia's actual potential, especially regarding its economy.
The military noted that the occupiers currently have an advantage in manpower and resources, but their strength is also diminishing. Ukrainians should rid themselves of feelings of inferiority and understand that much depends on us; not everything is decided far away. It is important to maintain unity and withstand this enemy pressure, as it will not last forever; there will be a backlash, and by that time, our partners may have already made the necessary decisions.
"I believe the first signs will only become apparent in early March; by that time, we should not expect any drastic changes either on the battlefield or in the broader political-international sphere, particularly regarding the war in Ukraine," said Yuri Fedorenko.
