The enemy army launched 112 Shahed drones and various types of drone decoys at Ukraine on the night of Friday, February 7.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukraine's air defense shot down 81 UAVs.
The Russians attacked Ukraine with Shaheds from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Shatalovo in the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian air defense forces were active in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
According to the Air Forces, 31 Russian drone decoys were locally lost.
Unfortunately, as a result of the enemy attack, damages were reported in three regions: Sumy, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi.
On February 7, Russian troops struck the Kyiv region with UAVs; police are documenting the aftermath of the enemy attack, with no reports of casualties.
The police in the Kyiv region reported that as a result of the drone strikes, agricultural and garage facilities were damaged in one of the districts.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
"The police of Kyiv region remind citizens that in case of an air raid alert, it is essential to remain vigilant and head to the nearest shelters!" – the statement reads.
