In Ukraine, the fine for not wearing a seatbelt is one of the lowest in Europe. If a passenger fails to use a seatbelt, the driver is held responsible and may face a fine of 510 hryvnias.
Although the amount of the fine is minimal, its preventive significance is crucial for reducing the number of accidents and saving lives on the roads.
