“President Trump is determined to end the Russian-Ukrainian war this year, or more precisely – as quickly as possible. What does ‘as quickly as possible’ mean? It could be either 90 or 100 days. Why 90 days? One of Trump's first decrees was to suspend funding for 90 days. And secondly, Kit Kellogg stated that in 100 days, which is April 30. I believe that the signing, meaning the cessation of hostilities, will occur on May 8-9,” asserts Oleg Starikov.
According to him, all of this will unfold in several stages, with the first being significant, related to international stability, as well as the cessation of hostilities in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The second stage, the expert continues, will focus more on what is happening on the continent, meaning all issues regarding elections will be addressed, since both Putin and Trump will demand that the Ukrainian president be legitimate.
“Everything related to negotiations, elections, who will sign, all of this is connected to the peace treaty. But this will take much longer, extending to the end of the year and beyond. This is my perspective, at least when looking at it broadly. The peace treaty may be concluded either at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next. It is a significant agreement, tied to the conclusion of hostilities,” explains Oleg Starikov.
