With the elections in the United States taking place on November 5, new polls indicate a tight race among the candidates.
As reported by Forbes, Donald Trump, the Republican Party representative, currently holds an edge over Vice President Kamala Harris in the state of Georgia, but the situation in other battleground states appears even more complex.
According to the latest Quinnipiac University poll, Trump is ahead of Harris by 7% in Georgia (52% to 45%). However, a recently conducted Wall Street Journal poll revealed that Harris led by 1% (46% to 45%).
In North Carolina, the scenario looks quite different. Here, Harris has a slight advantage (49% to 47%), although other polls, including the Wall Street Journal, indicate Trump leading by 1%. The situation in Pennsylvania shows a similar trend: polls indicate that Harris is ahead of Trump by 3%, but results from various agencies suggest a near tie in voter support.
In Arizona, Trump leads by 5% according to one poll, while in Michigan, Harris is ahead of Trump within the margin of error.
In Wisconsin, the situation remains uncertain, with a slight advantage for Harris, but the poll results are also fairly evenly distributed between the candidates. Nevada shows shifts in support with an uptick in Trump's ratings.
