On the night of Saturday, January 11, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 74 Shahed drones and other types of UAVs.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 47 targets were shot down, while another 27 did not reach their targets.
The UAVs were launched towards Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation.
The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The air defense operated across several regions.
According to the Air Forces, due to the fall of the downed enemy drones, buildings, institutions, private homes, and vehicles were damaged in seven regions of Ukraine.
Fortunately, there have been no casualties reported so far; the aftermath is being addressed, and assistance is being provided to those affected.
In the Kirovohrad region, electrical networks and homes were damaged due to the drone attack.
The enemy attacked the Kirovohrad region with drones on the night of January 11, resulting in damage to electrical networks and homes.
The head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, Andriy Raikovych, reported via Telegram that air defense forces were active in the region during the night.
In the Oleksandrivka community, damage to windows and roofs of several houses was recorded, as well as damage to the power line resistance.
According to Raikovych, there were no injuries reported.
In the Kyiv region, homes and utility buildings were damaged, according to the Kyiv Regional State Administration (KOVA). As a result of the night attack on January 11, there were no casualties among the population.
No hits on critical or residential infrastructure were reported.
Due to the debris from the downed enemy targets, two private houses and two utility buildings were damaged in one of the districts.
