Russian forces launched nighttime attacks using Iskander missiles and Shahed drones, according to the Air Force.

On the night of December 27, Russian forces launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 24 drones, including Shahed and other types, at Ukraine.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The missiles were launched from the Voronezh and Kursk regions of Russia, while the drones were deployed from the areas of Oryol, Bryansk, and Millerovo in Russia.

The air assault was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:00, the downing of 13 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and other types of imitation drones has been confirmed. They were shot down in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.

Additionally, due to the active resistance of the Defense Forces, 11 enemy imitation drones were lost in terms of location (without negative consequences).
