In the Poltava region, a gas extraction facility has ceased operations after being hit by Russian missiles.

The gas extraction facility of DTEK in the Poltava region ceased operations following a Russian missile strike on the night of February 11.

This was reported by the DTEK company.

Currently, assessments of the destruction and damage at the affected site are underway.

Let us remind you that on the night of February 11, the Russians launched a massive attack on Ukraine, utilizing drones and missiles.

Gas infrastructure facilities in the Poltava region were targeted. According to the Regional Military Administration, as a result of the attack, 9 settlements in the Myrhorod district were left without gas supply, and emergency power outages were implemented across the country.

Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated that the aim of the Russian attack was the Ukrainian energy system, including gas infrastructure facilities.
