In the Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, the regional energy companies are forced to implement power outages due to network restrictions caused by shelling.

This was reported by "Ukrenergo".

DTEK stated that during the night attack, Russian forces targeted the company's energy facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Currently, repair works are underway in both regions. The energy workers “are doing everything possible to restore the damaged equipment as quickly as possible”, while distribution system operators are reluctantly applying outages.

“Ukrenergo” noted that against the backdrop of warming, electricity consumption is gradually decreasing, but it is still important to use electricity sparingly. As of 9:30 on February 26, consumption levels were 1.3% lower than at the same time the previous day.

“We remind you that the Ukrainian energy system is still recovering after the massive missile and drone attacks by Russia. Emergency restoration works at energy facilities are ongoing. The need for economical consumption remains. Please do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time today between 16:00 and 19:00”, urged “Ukrenergo”.
