In the city of Engels, located in the Saratov region of Russia, authorities have announced the extinguishing of a fire at an "industrial facility," which erupted five days ago following a drone attack.

This was reported by the governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin.
According to him, they managed to eliminate the "open flames," but work at the site is still ongoing.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claimed that the affected facility in Engels is the “Kristall” oil refinery. It supplied fuel to the military airfield “Engels-2,” where Russian strategic aviation is based.
Busargin stated that two emergency responders lost their lives during the firefighting efforts, and another specialist was hospitalized. Due to the fire, a state of emergency was declared in the region.
