The command of the enemy's "East" troop grouping, operating in the area of Velyka Novosilka, is utilizing its reserves more efficiently than the "Center" troop grouping in the Pokrovsk direction, thus maintaining genuine capabilities for offensive actions.
This was reported by the coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, retired Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military analyst Konstantin Moshovets on his Telegram channel.
According to the expert, the primary plan of the enemy's command to capture the Velyka Novosilka area involves flanking maneuvers to either encircle the Ukrainian tactical group within the settlement or force the Armed Forces of Ukraine to retreat in a northwestern direction under the threat of encirclement.
Konstantin Moshovets noted that Velyka Novosilka and the surrounding areas (Vremivka and Neskuchne) are effectively already in a semi-encirclement, and if the occupiers advance towards the road to Uspenivka and the Mokri Yaly River, the situation for Ukrainian troops in Velyka Novosilka will worsen even further.
Currently, the enemy has already bypassed the Velyka Novosilka area from the east and south, breached to the north of it, and is now attempting to do the same from the west.
In the military analyst's view, the Armed Forces of Ukraine currently lack the necessary strength to rectify the situation, leading to a pessimistic outlook for the further defense of Velyka Novosilka.
