On the night of December 22, drones attacked an oil depot near the Russian city of Oryol, igniting a fire.

It is worth noting that the oil depot near Oryol was already attacked on December 14. Following that attack, the fire lasted for several days.

Russians Executed Ukrainian Prisoners of War

Russian military forces have once again executed Ukrainian prisoners of war at the front lines, as reported by the 110th Separate Brigade of UAV Systems named after Mark Bezruchko.

Zelensky Urged Diplomats to Achieve Peace by 2025

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Ukrainian diplomats on their professional holiday and stated that next year it is necessary to do everything possible to achieve a just peace.

The head of state emphasized that next year, the USA will experience “many changes in international affairs” due to Donald Trump’s return to power, and many European countries will hold elections, particularly in Poland and Germany.

Maluska: One of the Hacked Registries Has Been Closed

Former Minister of Justice Denis Maluska reported that most of the information from government registries attacked by Russian hackers was already publicly accessible.

However, he noted that the Russians managed to destroy the State Registry of Civil Status Acts, which is one of the most confidential.

Maluska pointed out that the Ministry of Justice has many copies of the registries, so they will be restored.

Cadets' Scholarships Will Increase

Starting in March 2025, cadets in military higher education institutions in their first and second years will receive payments at the level of the minimum wage in Ukraine—8,000 hryvnias.

Meanwhile, third and fourth-year cadets, whose training is equated with contract service, will receive over 20,000 hryvnias.
