Ukraine is utilizing drones equipped with 250-kilogram aerial bombs, according to SBS.

This was reported by the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

They explained that operators of the 14th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Aerial Systems have been striking behind enemy lines for over a year, covering hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of kilometers. There have already been dozens of such missions, with more to come.

The UMS also emphasized that this development is unique and “changes the rules of the game on the battlefield.”

“Russian propaganda constantly claims the 'downing' of such aircraft, but the explosions at defense industry facilities, oil refineries, and ammunition depots tell a different story,” said the Unmanned Systems Forces.

The UMS also urged media representatives to rely on information from official sources, stating that “sometimes silence is necessary for success.”

Previously, the military portal Defense Express reported that a drone carrying a 250-kilogram bomb attacked the Bryansk region. According to analysts, such bombs are carried by light aircraft SkyRanger Swift, which have been converted into strike drones.
