Police are identifying individuals who likely obstructed traffic in the city center.
A video has surfaced online showing a group of young men blocking traffic on the city's streets while listening to Russian music.
Law enforcement is investigating when the incident occurred and the identities of all participants to hold them accountable, as reported by Kyiv Police.
Some social media users claim that the hooligans allegedly scattered dollars, exceeded speed limits, and "cut off" other vehicles. They were undeterred even as they passed by a memorial for fallen soldiers. Reportedly, the young men claimed that all their problems could be solved with “gifts” from their parents.
Additionally, the video features a moment where one young man drives down the street, listening to the song “I Am Russian” by the Russian artist Shaman and singing the anthem of the aggressor country. This incident took place in the evening on the left bank of the capital, near the shopping center “Arcadia.” However, this Kyiv resident, who is a second-year student at a private college, has already been punished by the Darnytsia District Court, which issued a verdict on November 28, 2024. He was sentenced to probation supervision for one year.
