Timur Tkachenko has been appointed as the new head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Today, by a Decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Timur Tkachenko has been appointed as the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Kashtan NEWS has gathered information about the professional activities of the new head of KMVA.

2012 – 2014: Assistant to a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the VII convocation.

2014: Responsible secretary at the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Foreign Trade Publishing."

2015-2016: Head of the Department at the Municipal Enterprise "Kyivblagoustriy."

2016-2017: Head of the Municipal Enterprise "Pleso," focusing on investments in coastal infrastructure.

2018: Head of the apparatus of the Holosiivskyi District State Administration.

2019: Deputy Head of the Darnytsia District State Administration.

2020: First Deputy Director of the Department of Urban Development of the Kyiv City State Administration.

Until 2023: Director of the Department of Territorial Control.

2023–2024: Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries.

He worked alongside Oleksandr Kamyshyn and was responsible for shelter issues. During this time, a Telegram chatbot was created to allow citizens to report closed doors in shelters or their condition.

Additionally, Timur Tkachenko and his team established a unified portal “Iron Shelter”, which gathered all information regarding ongoing repair works and expenditures.

2024: Deputy Minister for Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine. He oversaw maritime and river transport, railways, aviation, postal communication, and the management of road infrastructure.

It is worth noting that the position of head of the Kyiv City Military Administration was previously held by Serhiy Popko for over two years.
