In the capital, law enforcement officials uncovered a municipal enterprise director demanding a bribe
The perpetrator sought funds in exchange for facilitating permission for filming in the Podil district of the city. The officer was exposed by investigators from the Solomianskyi police department.
It has been established that the head of one of the municipal enterprises was approached by an entrepreneur for permission to shoot a commercial video in the area of Kontraktova Square. The official agreed but noted that for the contract to be finalized, the entrepreneur needed to pay him 40,000 hryvnias. Additionally, for this amount, he promised to resolve any disputes that arose during the filming with any regulatory authorities.
Police apprehended the individual while he was receiving the specified sum, as reported by the Kyiv police communication department.
