The Defense Forces eliminated another 1,500 Russian soldiers and 10 tanks, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.

In the past 24 hours, on January 10th, the Russian army has suffered the loss of an additional 1,570 soldiers, both killed and wounded. Since February 2022, Russia's total personnel losses have reached 806,500 individuals.

This is mentioned in the daily report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Losses in equipment and armaments have also increased:

  • tanks — 9751 (+10 over the past day);
  • armored fighting vehicles — 20271 (+18);
  • artillery systems — 21817 (+28);
  • MLRS — 1260;
  • air defense systems — 1042 (+1);
  • airplanes — 369;
  • helicopters — 331;
  • operational-tactical UAVs — 21958 (+74);
  • cruise missiles — 3017;
  • ships/boats — 28;
  • submarines — 1;
  • automotive equipment and fuel tankers — 33534 (+61);
  • special vehicles — 3692 (+3).

Ukraine's Losses

On December 8, 2024, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in the full-scale war with Russia, 43 thousand Ukrainian servicemen have died. At the same time, it is also known that there have been 370,000 cases of assistance provided to the wounded. According to Zelensky, 50% of the injured return to duty.

Previously, Kyiv did not disclose data on losses among its servicemen. The Ministry of Defense stated that information on the number of deceased Ukrainian fighters would remain classified until the end of martial law.

According to the counts of the "Book of Memory of the Fallen for Ukraine" project, published in mid-November 2023, at least 30 thousand Ukrainian fighters have died since February 24, 2022. Additionally, up to 100 thousand military personnel were injured, but most of them were either on duty or were expected to return to service soon.
