In the Kharkiv region, the main focus of the Russian occupation forces is the settlement of Borovaya, which serves as a crucial logistics hub.

This was reported by Lieutenant Colonel Rodion Kudryashov, deputy commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview with Radio NV.

The officer mentioned that the Third Assault Brigade has been carrying out its tasks in the Kharkiv region for eight months and has not once conceded its positions or company strongholds to the enemy, thus the frontline in this area remains relatively unchanged.

"The enemy intensifies its efforts in cycles. The latest cycle was the autumn campaign when the enemy attempted to breach our defenses but faced counteractions from the Third Brigade and lost its battalion defensive line," stated Rodion Kudryashov.

According to the military, further up the map, the Russian occupation forces have succeeded in reaching the Oskol River and establishing a sufficiently strong foothold, which has allowed the enemy to exert serious pressure on the flanks of the Third Assault Brigade.

"Overall, the enemy, regardless of the weather, is undertaking assault actions. These assaults are carried out both with infantry, supported by artillery, and through mechanized assaults. Currently, the weather in eastern Ukraine is relatively stable, meaning there are no severe frosts, and the enemy continues to resort to mechanized assaults from columns that consist of at least six armored vehicles, with a maximum recently being a column of 15 vehicles, which are being successfully eliminated," added Rodion Kudryashov.
