Participants are calling for the suspension of a theater university lecturer accused of sexual harassment
A protest is taking place outside the Kyiv City State Administration demanding the suspension of Andrii Bilous, a lecturer at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television named after Karpenko-Kary and the artistic director of the Young Theatre.

During the protest, one participant undressed in a show of dissent: police took her into the premises of the city state administration. Following this, several male protesters also removed their clothing.

Andrii Bilous is accused of sexual harassment towards female students and actresses of the theater. In January, a video surfaced on social media featuring a girl with her face covered, claiming that after her enrollment in the university, Bilous sent her intimate photos of other students and asked her to send her own.

At the end of January, the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television suspended Andrii Bilous from teaching activities. On February 10, coinciding with the protest, the Kyiv police issued a statement announcing the opening of a criminal investigation under Article 153 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (sexual violence) regarding "possible unlawful actions by a lecturer at the capital university."

Bilous's name is not mentioned in the police statement; however, officials indicated that they are currently in communication with students, faculty, and the university administration.
