Russians launched an attack on Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the death of a man.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Sergey Lysak.

According to him, throughout the day, the Russians struck the Nikopol district approximately 15 times. The occupiers targeted populated areas with artillery, deployed kamikaze drones, and dropped munitions from UAVs.

In Nikopol, a 52-year-old man was killed due to shrapnel wounds. Another local resident, aged 74, sustained injuries.

In Nikopol, there are damages at 2 enterprises, 15 private houses, 12 outbuildings, 4 vehicles, a garage, gas pipelines, and electrical networks.

Previous Shelling

Late in the evening on February 15 and during the night of February 16, Russian troops used heavy artillery to strike the Nikopol district, reported the head of the regional military administration.

The Russians targeted Nikopol and the Marhanets community. As a result of the shelling, there were no casualties.

In other districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, there were no shellings in the past 24 hours.
