This is reported by the Russian publication "Meduza."
16-year-old Eva Bagrova has been sent to a detention center for two months.
According to the press service of the city courts, she is suspected of public calls, justification, and propaganda of terrorism. For this, she faces either a fine or up to 5 years in prison.
Bagrova was detained after photographs of RDK commander Denis Kapustin and battalion member Alexey Levkin appeared on a display at an educational center on December 26. Both photos were captioned "honored hero of Russia."
Initially, Russian law enforcement detained the deputy director for educational work, but she denied any involvement in the matter.
Last year, fighters from the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the "Freedom of Russia" legion, fighting on the side of Ukraine, declared the "beginning of the liberation of Russia" from the Putin regime. They, in particular, conducted operations on the Russian border, temporarily seizing border checkpoints.
Andrey Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, stated that these Russian citizens are operating within the Defense Forces in Ukraine and that "at home, they have the right to do whatever they see fit." He also mentioned that Russians are using trophy weapons.
On the morning of March 12, Russian volunteers from the "Freedom of Russia" legion at the Russian-Ukrainian border announced that they were "heading to the elections" for the President of Russia.
"We will reclaim our land from the regime inch by inch. Russians will sleep peacefully, will not fear a knock on the door, and will speak their minds without fear. Russians will vote for whom they want, not for whom they are told. Russians will live freely," the Legion declared.
The GUR stated that on the territory of the Russian Federation, the "Freedom of Russia" legion, the "Russian Volunteer Corps," and the Siberian Battalion (created most recently in the summer of 2023) are conducting a joint operation.
