This was reported by the people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Chairman of the Commission Alexander Bakumov, speaking from the podium, stated that not all the tasks set could be accomplished due to insufficient authority. Therefore, he called for the establishment of an investigative commission that could engage experts, conduct examinations, and obtain testimonies.
According to him, the Commission organized trips to inspect fortifications, particularly in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions, in the north, etc.
It is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada established the Commission in May to oversee the use of budgetary funds for the construction of fortifications and the production of drones. It includes nine other representatives from the "Servant of the People" party and one representative from each faction and group in the Verkhovna Rada.
The Commission's tasks included assessing the needs for drones and forming a state order for their production and procurement, as well as analyzing the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles to the military. Additionally, the commission is to examine the structure of fortifications along the frontline and the targeted use of funds allocated for their construction.
