Russia's losses in the war are five times greater than Ukraine's, according to special envoy Kellogg.

Donald Trump's special envoy regarding the war in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, stated that Russia's losses during the full-scale invasion are five times greater than those of Ukraine.
По словам спецпосланника Келлог, потери России в войне превышают украинские в пять раз.

He stated this during a broadcast on Fox Business.

According to him, the current war of Russia against Ukraine has turned into a war of attrition, similar to what occurred during World War II.

“They (the Russians — ed.) simply overwhelm with a large number of soldiers, and then even more. Wave attacks with massive casualties are a common practice for the Russians, just as it is for the North Koreans,” Kellogg said.

He also believes that under the current circumstances, both Ukraine and Russia are already ready for peace negotiations. According to Kellogg, both sides are saying that “perhaps it’s time to retreat.” He also expressed hope that Trump will fulfill his promise and bring an end to the war.

Casualties of Ukraine and Russia

According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of December 19, the Russian army has lost 768,220 personnel killed and wounded throughout the war.

At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on December 8 that in the full-scale war against Russia, 43 thousand Ukrainian servicemen have died. It is also known that there have been 370 thousand instances of assistance provided to the wounded. According to Zelensky, 50% of the injured return to service.
