Some promised Patriots have yet to arrive in Ukraine, and overall aid has decreased by 20%, according to Zelensky.

President Vladimir Zelensky announced that Ukraine has yet to receive certain Patriot air defense systems that partners promised back in July 2024.

He made this statement in response to a question from hromadske at the forum "Ukraine. Year - 2025".

"I'm not even talking about new systems; I'm referring to the systems we agreed upon. That was in July [2024]. We are working on these issues and on air defense systems," Zelensky stated.

He mentioned that Ukraine needs an additional 20 Patriot systems.

The President added that currently, assistance from the U.S. has decreased by 20%. However, he still hopes that U.S. support will not cease.

Therefore, Zelensky anticipates an increase in aid from Europe. This includes both aid packages and separate funding from Europe for Ukraine's domestic arms production. He shared that Ukraine is engaged in developing an equivalent system to the Patriot air defense system.

"We are conducting some negotiations with various representatives from non-European countries to strengthen Ukraine and the possibility of acquiring weapons packages. There are good results, in my opinion," he added.
