The police identified the culprit behind the train delays
Law enforcement in the capital has identified the individual who threw an object resembling explosives into a train car at the "Arsenalna" metro station, temporarily paralyzing the subway's operation in that area. The perpetrator of the incident turned out to be a 10-year-old boy.
This information was reported by The Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv.
“At one of the stations in the capital's metro, a ten-year-old boy threw a filtering-absorbing box for a gas mask into a train car. In this way, the schoolboy intended to joke with the passengers. The police have drawn up an administrative protocol concerning the boy's mother, and a preventive conversation was held with the ‘joker,’” the police stated.
Additionally, regarding the boy's mother, the police have prepared a protocol under Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (failure of parents or guardians to fulfill their duties concerning the upbringing of children).
It is worth noting that the unpleasant incident in the metro occurred this afternoon. A video circulated on one of the messaging apps showing passengers rapidly exiting a train at the "Dnipro" station due to an unknown object being thrown into the car.
Recall that a six-year-old resident of the Holosiivskyi district woke up to the sound of explosions and called the patrol police.
