During the five years of operation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation, over seven thousand draft laws were registered. Most of these pertained to economic and legal policy, as well as sectoral development.
Such data is presented by Movement CHESNO.
According to analysts, economic policy accounts for 29 percent of all legislative initiatives, while legal policy comprises 24 percent. An additional 19 percent of the draft laws were submitted under the category of "sectoral development."
At the same time, slightly fewer legislative initiatives from MPs related to social policy (8% of the total), state building — 6 percent, security and defense — 5.9 percent, and humanitarian policy — 3.2 percent.
It is worth noting that the majority of adopted laws were also connected to economic and legal policy. Specifically, 25 percent of all legislative changes were related to economic policy, and 17 percent to legal policy.
Reminder, as of the end of last year, 37 laws voted on by the Members of Parliament of Ukraine of the IX convocation are awaiting the signature of the President of Ukraine.
