The Ukrainian Air Force reported this information.
Russians launched Kh-59/69 missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea, while drones were deployed from various locations: Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation.
The air assault was countered by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09:30, the destruction of two Kh-59/69 missiles, 46 "Shahed" drones, and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles has been confirmed in the regions of Odesa, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Kirovohrad.
Another 15 imitation drones were lost to radar detection (without negative consequences).
The downed UAVs caused damage in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Buildings of enterprises, institutions, multi-apartment and private homes, as well as vehicles were damaged. The aftermath is already being addressed, and assistance is being provided to those affected.
According to data from the State Emergency Service, the attack in Vyshneve, Kyiv region, damaged a 9-story building: balconies from the 5th to the 9th floors were destroyed. Five people were rescued, including two children.
Additionally, as a result of the Russian attack, a production facility in the Fastiv district caught fire. The fire covering an area of 600 m² has been extinguished.
In the Cherkasy region, Russians targeted critical infrastructure. Rescuers have already extinguished the fire covering an area of 200 m². In addition to the damages, part of the subscribers in the region and in Cherkasy has lost power.
