Previously, President Vladimir Zelensky stated during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada that Ukraine plans to produce three thousand cruise missiles and drone missiles.
Military-political analyst Alexander Kovalенко from the "Information Resistance" group explained in a broadcast on "Praymiy" how this could change the situation.
"When I heard this, I felt a bit of dissonance. On one hand, to just pull these numbers out of thin air and say that we need to make 3,000 missiles or 10,000 missiles – someone must have informed the president that there is such a technical possibility; it’s impossible to make such a statement without basis. On the other hand, I would genuinely be pleased if we had such an opportunity," – said Alexander Kovalенко.
The military expert explained that producing three thousand cruise missiles a year translates to eight units of finished product per day. Currently, the Russians are producing two X-101 missiles and one Kalibr cruise missile per day, meaning we plan to produce 2.5 times more than Russia.
"I would stand and applaud if such plans were indeed realized, because it would allow us to dictate our terms to Russia with ultimatums, effectively plunging it into blackout and creating conditions within the Russian Federation, especially in the capital, that would leave them with no choice but to capitulate. For three thousand cruise missiles, particularly if they are upgraded R-360s – that is indeed the trump card that Russia will have no counter against,” – added Alexander Kovalенко.
