The majority of patients are children
From December 23 to 29, the incidence of influenza and ARVI decreased by 16.3 percent compared to the previous week, totaling 8,199 cases.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Among the patients, there were 4,964 children, including 2,665 schoolchildren and 1,278 preschoolers.
The number of adults diagnosed with "influenza" and "acute respiratory viral infection" was 3,235, including 462 individuals aged 65 and older (at-risk group).
Last week, the number of hospitalized patients was 248, including 113 children.
