The Ukrainian General Staff has confirmed a second strike on the Ryazan Oil Refinery.

Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' drone systems from the Main Intelligence Directorate have struck the Ryazan Oil Refinery in Russia.

This is mentioned in a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

They clarify that the Ryazan Oil Refinery is involved in supporting the Russian army. It is one of the four largest oil refineries in Russia. There, in particular, diesel fuel and TS-1 jet fuel are produced.

In addition to the refinery, Ukrainian missile forces struck a forward command post of the Russians in the Kursk region — the operational group of the Pacific Fleet. The results of the strikes are still being clarified.

Previously, the strike on the Ryazan Oil Refinery was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Astra. Just two days ago, on January 24, this plant was already on fire — at that time, drones from the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine hit it.

Videos showing the blaze visible in Ryazan after the attack on the refinery have been shared online.
