The law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal proceeding
The police are investigating the former head of the Kyiv Metro, who left Ukraine using a forged military medical commission conclusion.
This is reported by the Kyiv police communication department.
“The decision of the medical commission led to the man being removed from military registration due to an allegedly incurable disease,” the message states.
A criminal case has been opened regarding this matter. Currently, law enforcement officials are conducting a search in the office premises of the Kyiv Metro.
As a reminder, the former head of the capital's metro, Viktor Brahinets, was previously suspected of official negligence that resulted in the flooding of the tunnel between the "Lybidska" and "Demiivska" stations. In December 2024, Brahinets’ name appeared in the wanted database of individuals hiding from law enforcement authorities.
