Drones targeted the Saratov region, focusing on the oil refinery and the city of Engels, which hosts an airfield.

On the night of February 11, drones targeted the Saratov region, resulting in a fire at a local oil refinery.

The drone attack was reported by the local governor Roman Busragin.

According to him, emergency services are currently inspecting the areas where "debris may have fallen." However, Russian media sources and the head of the CPD of the National Security and Defense Council, Andrey Kovalenko, stated that the Saratov Oil Refinery, one of the oldest in Russia, was indeed targeted.

Drones also attacked Engels in the Saratov region, where a military airfield housing Russian strategic aviation is located. Local residents reported hearing at least 11 explosions in the city.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that they allegedly shot down 40 Ukrainian drones overnight, 18 of which were over the Saratov region. The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on these events.
