Drapaty called for a "strong response" to the killings of military personnel from the TCC.

The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Mykhailo Drapaty, condemned the instances of killings of military personnel from territorial recruitment centers. He views this as a "red line that must not be crossed."
Драпатый потребовал «жесткой реакции» на убийства военнослужащих ТЦК.

He wrote about this on social media.

Drapaty believes that armed attacks on military personnel of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) are a continuation of the "growing wave of disrespect for the defenders of Ukraine," which, according to him, has previously manifested in the humiliation and aggression towards the military.

The murder of a TCC employee and the attack on the recruitment office are "arbitrary actions against the military" that cannot be justified, says the Commander of the Ground Forces. He called for a "swift and harsh response from the authorities."

"Without just punishment for the murderers, the gloaters, and the traitors, we will see even more of our comrades killed in the rear. In other cities. In other neighborhoods. At gas stations, in supermarkets, in entrances, on the streets that we name after Heroes," Drapaty wrote.

He also urged respect for the military and advised against turning "bad symptoms" into a "diagnosis."

What preceded this?

On February 1, at a gas station in the city of Pyriatyn in the Poltava region, a man in a gray balaclava and pixelated pants shot a serviceman of the Poltava TCC.

After the attack, the man took the soldier's automatic weapon and fled with one of the mobilized military personnel. A special operation called "Siren" was launched in the Poltava region to apprehend them. Subsequently, both he and the conscript were detained, and during searches, weapons were found with the attacker.

On the same day, an explosion occurred at the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support in Rivne. The causes are still being determined. As a result, one person died, and six others were injured.
