Funds have been successfully recovered for the state budget
A former director of a capital construction company specializing in residential and non-residential buildings has been charged for attempting to evade over 43 million UAH in land lease payments.
This information was reported by the Economic Security Bureau.
According to the law enforcement agency, it was established that officials had not reflected the actual normative monetary valuation of the land plot in the company's tax reports for two years. As a result, this allowed the company to reduce its taxes, leading to the non-payment of over 43 million UAH.
At the same time, as noted by the EDB, during the pre-trial investigation, the Bureau's detectives ensured the full recovery of the damages caused to the state by the company.
It is worth mentioning that according to a sociological survey, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians believe that the main obstacle for their compatriots to honestly pay taxes to the state is the low level of income.
