At the same time, he noted that Ukraine is closer to peace now than at any time during nearly three years of full-scale war.
The head of state also reiterated that Kyiv supports the idea of sending European peacekeepers, but only as one of several security options, not the sole solution.
Law enforcement reported suspicions against two residents of the Poltava region in connection with the murder of a military recruitment officer at a gas station in Pyriatyn.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapaty, condemned the murders of military personnel from territorial recruitment centers. He considers this a "red line that must not be crossed."
An explosion occurred near the recruitment center and social protection office in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region. Preliminary reports indicate that one person was injured. The recruitment center stated that they are cooperating with the police for a "swift clarification of all details."
President Volodymyr Zelensky has commented for the first time on the conflict surrounding the change of leadership at the Defense Procurement Agency. He believes that Defense Minister Rustem Umerov "has the right to make any decisions necessary for the uninterrupted supply of weapons" to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved 100% reservation for medical workers in state and communal health institutions, as well as prosecutors from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
Previously, critical medical institutions could reserve only up to 50% of conscripted men.
