Russian military forces continue to actively employ the "motorcyclist" tactic, utilizing motorcycles, buggies, and ATVs to transport their units for assaults.
Major Denis Regotyuk, the deputy battalion commander, shared on the Telethon how the enemy is enhancing their tactics near Ugledar.
Denis Regotyuk also revealed that the primary target for Russian occupiers at this time is Kurakhovo, which they are encircling from different directions, applying pressure wherever possible.
"Overall, as I understand it, after Ugledar, they will continue advancing, further breaking through flanks towards the Zaporizhzhia region. There is a significant risk for Velyka Novosilka. If the flanks break through, it will create major problems for us as well. But for now, we are holding, and adjacent units are also holding firm.
The military emphasized that in the Ugledar direction, Russian occupiers are constantly changing and combining the traditional attack scheme of "technique-meat assaults."
The occupiers are refining their tactics by involving motorcycle and small infantry groups, which are characterized by high mobility, preparedness, knowledge of the terrain, and precise adherence to instructions.
"Constantly launching "meat" assaults with large formations and equipment is not new for us. However, the enemy is also combining their tactics. They initiate their assaults using drones, FPV, and conduct reconnaissance. The so-called "motorcyclists" pose a continuous threat as they breach our front line and dig in. Then, for half a day, and sometimes 3-4 days, we try to eliminate and destroy the enemy.
He added that small groups are particularly dangerous because they are well-instructed, prepared, and knowledgeable about the terrain. They clearly understand their objectives, infiltrate, and assault, which presents a significant danger.
