Overseas business trips of city officials are under the direct supervision of the head of the Kyiv Military Administration.

Every hryvnia spent today on official business trips for government officials at the expense of Kyiv residents must be justified.
Командировки городских чиновников за границу находятся под личным контролем начальника КМВА.

Every hryvnia spent today on official business trips by officials at the expense of Kyiv residents must be justified

This is emphasized by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, in response to a question from a journalist from “Kashtan. Interview”.

The head of the KMWA raised several important issues, including civil protection, the functioning of the city during wartime, bridge closures, and the problem of halting transport during air raid alerts. The interview also discussed mobile shelters and how the system for monitoring the use of budget funds will operate.

Timur Tkachенко explained why the topic of officials' business trips abroad is also relevant:

-Every hryvnia spent today on business trips at the expense of Kyiv residents must be justified, as during martial law, it makes sense to direct financial resources towards security and protection issues. It should be taken into account that if the trip ultimately brings additional revenues from European partners, then it is justified. However, if it is merely a trip for, so to speak, exchanging experiences, then it’s worth analyzing what kind of experience, what issues will be discussed abroad, and so forth. I am not saying that there are any illegal actions in this regard today. But, as the new head of the city military administration, I would like to understand where city officials are going, what funds are being used, and the rationale behind this. Therefore, I decided to take this issue under personal control.
