Открытость: семь парламентских комитетов избегают публичности своей работы.

Analysts conducted a study

According to the monitoring results of the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the most transparent were the Committee on Human Rights, the Committee on Digitalization, and the Committee on Energy. In contrast, seven committees are avoiding providing information about their activities.

This data was released by Movement CHESNO.

As noted by the organization’s experts, representatives of the three aforementioned parliamentary committees systematically publish the transcripts of their meetings, provide access to video recordings, and decisions made.

At the same time, the lowest rating was given to the Committee on National Security and Intelligence. This is because it does not publish audio and video recordings of meetings, as well as transcripts and protocols, limiting itself to posting only the agendas.

Experts note that a similar situation exists in the Committee on Law Enforcement Activities.

Additionally, the transportation, tax, and agricultural committees, the Committee on Foreign Policy, and the Committee on Legal Policy also found themselves in the anti-rating.

“A common issue for them is that information about meetings on the website is updated in a non-systematic manner, violating legal requirements, and video and audio materials from meetings are often absent,” — explained political researchers.

Recall, experts from the Movement CHESNO discovered that the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, for unclear reasons, did not vote “for” or “against” any decisions of the Kyiv City Council regarding the renaming of city streets in the context of de-Russification or de-imperialization of toponyms last year.
