A Memorial Alley has been inaugurated in the Obolon district (PHOTO)

On the day marking the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion, a Memorial Alley was ceremoniously inaugurated in the Obolon district of the capital.

On the third anniversary of the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, the Alley of Memory was ceremoniously opened in the Obolonskyi district of the capital.

The event was attended by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including those who have been defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state since 2014.

Family members and friends of our fallen defenders, their comrades-in-arms, volunteers, and concerned residents of Kyiv came to participate in the memorial event, laying flowers at the displays featuring photographs of the fallen Heroes from Obolon and lighting candles.

The attendees honored the memory of the fallen Heroes with a moment of silence, while clergy conducted a memorial service. During the rally, poignant memories of the defenders who laid down their lives for Ukraine were shared.

The Alley of Memory was established based on the wishes of the families and loved ones of the fallen Heroes. It was initiated by the head of the Obolonskyi District State Administration, Kyrylo Fesyuk, without the use of budget funds. The alley is located on Levko Lukyanenko Street.

As a reminder, according to information from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, more than 46,000 Ukrainian military personnel have died since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, with tens of thousands considered missing, and nearly 380,000 injured.
