The highest demand among employers is for skilled trades
In particular, chefs are in high demand. The need for professionals in this field reflects the activity of the restaurant business in Kyiv. The large number of job offers indicates that the city has a well-developed food service sector: many restaurants, cafes, canteens, and food courts require professional chefs.
This was reported by the director of the Kyiv City Employment Service, Dmytro Novytskyi.
Drivers of motor vehicles can also expect quick employment. The high number of vacancies points to the intensity of freight transport, delivery services, transport companies, and taxi services.
There are also many offers for sales consultants. The city has numerous shops, shopping centers, and various retail outlets that require sales specialists.
The salary level for workers in these professions typically ranges from 15,000 to 45,000 hryvnias.
Top vacancies in the capital also include: food product seller, radio-electronic equipment and devices assembler, accountant, mid-level medical staff, and engineer.
The capital offers jobs for electric gas welders and electricians for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
“When discussing other in-demand professions, among the so-called ‘white-collar’ workers, the most sought-after are managers, economists, and lawyers. There is also a shortage of teachers in general secondary education institutions, educators, and mid-level medical staff,” added Dmytro Novytskyi.
Previously, Kashtan NEWS reported that, for example, a software engineer and a specialist in software development and testing were offered 110 thousand hryvnias, a programmer engineer — 100 thousand, a journalist — 49 thousand, a safety engineer — 47 thousand, a chef — 44 thousand, and a driver — 43 thousand.
