Citizens Increase Support for the Army
Recently, Ukrainians have begun donating more to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through volunteer banks than through large funds or charitable organizations, with the total amount of donations increasing by more than one and a half times.

It is noted that this year, Ukrainians have already donated nearly 40 billion UAH specifically to volunteer banks, which is 1.4 times more than the entire last year and almost 5 times more than in 2022. The three largest funds in the country (Sergiy Prytula Foundation, Come Back Alive, and United24) collected nearly 19 billion UAH in support for the Armed Forces last year.
Compared to the first year of the full-scale war, the average donation amount has increased by 1.6 times — from 250 to 410 UAH.
The highest number of registered volunteers is in Kyiv — 1.6 thousand (15.6% of the total). In second place is the frontline region of Kharkiv with 951 volunteers (9.1%) and Kyiv region with 896 volunteers (8.6%).
This year, the most new volunteers were registered in Rivne and Zaporizhzhia regions, where their numbers increased by 1.8 times.
