Analysts have summarized some outcomes of the parliament's work

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation has been operating for six years since its election, marking the longest term in the history of Ukrainian parliamentary practice. During this period, there have been 414 sessions in parliament, including 363 plenary sessions and 51 extraordinary sessions.

These figures are provided by Movement CHESNO in their analytical research.

According to the organization's analysts, a total of 16,902 votes were cast in parliament over the five years, equating to 47 hours of continuous button-pressing if we consider the standard 10 seconds allocated for voting. Out of this number of votes, 47 percent received more than 226 votes "in favor," which are necessary for adoption. A surge in voting was observed at the beginning of this convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, as well as during the middle and end of 2021.

Meanwhile, the highest participation rate in voting understandably belongs to the majority faction "Servant of the People" (78%), while the lowest participation was recorded among pro-Russian MPs from the OPZZH faction (later known as the PZHZM group): they participated in only 45 percent of the votes during this convocation.

It is worth noting that the full-scale invasion of Russians into Ukraine has changed the approach to voting among members of parliament: they have been pressing the "against" button less frequently.
