The Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Petro Olenych, who is suspected of involvement in a criminal organization engaged in land transactions in Kyiv, has been released from custody following the payment of a bail amounting to 15 million UAH.

This was reported by Kyiv heritage protector Dmytro Perov on his social media page.

“The High Anti-Corruption Court has released one of the key figures in the land grab scandal in the Kyiv City Council, Petro Olenych, from custody. The bail was set at 15 million UAH,” Perov wrote.

This information was confirmed to KashtanNEWS by the spokesperson for the High Anti-Corruption Court, Olesya Chemeris.

It is worth noting that other individuals involved in the case remain in custody: Kyiv City Council member and head of the permanent commission on architecture, urban planning, and land relations, Olena Marchenko, with an alternative bail option of 50 million UAH, and Kyiv City Council member, head of the land commission of the KMC, Mykhailo Terentiev, with an alternative bail option of 19.98 million UAH.

As a reminder, at the end of the first decade of February, the High Anti-Corruption Court selected a preventive measure for Olenych in the form of detention until April 6, with the possibility of posting bail of 15 million UAH.
